Black Hayward SP0714T VariFlo Top-Mount Multiport Valve offers seven positions for different functions, such as filter, backwash, waste, rinse, closed, winter, and recirculate. This Pro-Series Control Valve is designed for 1-1/2-Inch (FIP) and is top-mounted with a clamp for easy installation. The Vari-Flo XL multiport control valve from Hayward is known for its maximum flow at lower pressure drops, making it the top choice in multiport valves.

The lever-action handle on all Vari-Flo control valves makes it easy to switch between the seven valve/filter functions. An integral sight glass is included, allowing you to monitor the backwashing cycle and ensure it is completed. With a wide selection of valve configurations available, you can match the right Vari-Flo valve to your specific application, whether it is residential, commercial, top-mount, or side-mount.

The various functions of the control valve include FILTER for regular filtering and vacuuming, BACKWASH for cleaning the filter sand bed, RINSE to ensure all dirty water is rinsed out of the filter, WASTE for bypassing the filter to drain or lower pool water level, RECIRCULATE for recirculating water without the filter, CLOSED for shutting off the flow, and WINTER for winterizing (SP0714T only).
